M6Teen attended Ponelopele Oracle Secondary School in Kaalfontein for five years.
He developed an interest in rap during his high school years and received positive feedback and encouragement from fellow students and teachers.
He grew up in a township called “Ivory Park” wich is in Midrand 1685. M6Teen lives with his mother, his father passed on when he was young. He has a younger sister.
M6Teen makes hip hop music in a vernac language (isiZulu) mixed with a bit of English in it.He is also versatile, can get on any beat and make magic out of it in the booth.
M6Teen convinced his mother to give him taxi fare necessary to get to Shine Studios’ in Joburg,Braamfontein. The auditions went well, resulted in him being added to be one of those rappers who will participate on the rap battle show “One Mic SABC 1″‘, which was judged by the late Pro Kid,Big Zulu and Aewon Wolf.
He released his debut EP titled “Black Mirror” in May 04 2018 ,which had songs like “Manyora” ,”Business”, “Number One” etc… .The EP did well on the streaming platforms.
